One word, FAITH. Proverbs 3:5 says "Trust in the LORD with all you heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." What a powerful word that has been for me at this trying time. It can be powerful for you too. I truly believe that without faith, I would be truly lost as I go through this difficult journey. Faith doesn't take all of the pain of life away all of the time. For me to say it does would not be true. Faith can help you through the trying times if you let it in to your heart. There are certainly many different definitions of faith. Right now faith to me is faith in GOD and the promise of eternal life. Faith that Kyle is waiting for us all in heaven and WE WILL see him again. Faith also leads me to me motto through this time. "My life is only a blink compared to eternity with those I love". Please consider the faith that you have and how powerful it is when you sit quitely and really think about it. If you are reading this and don't think that you have any faith, it is not too late. You can discover faith at any point in your life. Through good times or bad.

In case no reader of this blog was aware, Kyle was killed in a tragic car accident on June 5th. Several people said that it would be a shame for this blog to not be kept up. After some deep thought on the matter and with the help of two other admins, Jen and I decided to keep it going. I was "somewhat" blessed with the ability to write (nothing like Kyle was). I will do my best to post as often as worthwhile thoughts come to me. No promises on how often that will be. I do want to thank everyone for otheir continued, love, thoughts, support, and prayers as we as a family and everyone that knew Kyle attempt to get "just a little bit better" everyday.
